Bernd Rehm

Professor Bernd Rehm is a faculty member at Griffith University, serving as a Professor in the School of Environment and Science - Bioscience. He leads the Centre for Cell Factories and Biopolymers and holds affiliations with institutes like the Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery (2017–2024) and the Institute for Biomedicine and Glycomics (2024–present). His research focuses on bio-based materials, vaccine development, and biopolymer engineering, with over 250 publications (h-index 73) and 59 patent applications (26 granted).
