Dr. Bernard Nahlen is a Professor and Director of the Eck Institute for Global Health at the University of Notre Dame. His career focuses on malaria and HIV research in low- and middle-income countries, with leadership roles in the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI), WHO Global Malaria Programme, and the Global Fund. He has spearheaded partnerships with UN agencies, private foundations, and local governments.
