Bernard Brooks

Bernard Brooks is a Professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) within the College of Science. He holds roles including Associate Head of Applied and Computational Mathematics. His education includes a BSc from the University of Toronto, an MBA from RIT, and an MSc and Ph.D. from the University of Guelph. His research focuses on mathematical modeling, dynamical systems, and financial mathematics, with notable work on rumor propagation and social network analysis. He has been recognized with the Eisenhart Award for Outstanding Teaching (2012). Dr. Brooks teaches courses such as Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, and Mathematics of Finance.
