Bernadette O'Regan

Bernadette O'Regan is a Senior Lecturer in Environmental Science at the Department of Chemical Sciences, University of Limerick. Her work integrates system dynamics modelling, life cycle assessment (LCA), and sustainability metrics to address environmental challenges, particularly in waste management, resource efficiency, and decarbonisation. She leads EU-funded projects like Sustainable Settlements and Metabolism and Material Flow Management, while contributing to cutting-edge teaching in modules such as Environmental Impact Assessment and Conservation Ecology.
