Bernadette Gillick

Dr. Bernadette Gillick serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with additional affiliations in Pediatrics and the School of Medicine and Public Health. As Director of the Waisman Pediatric Neuromodulation Laboratory and Director of Research Design at the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, she bridges her 30-year clinical career as a pediatric physical therapist with a PhD in Rehabilitation Science and Neuroscience to develop innovative interventions for children with early brain injuries.

Her research integrates neuromodulation, neuroimaging, and behavioral assessments to advance understanding of brain development and recovery after injury.
