Bermal Aydin

Dr Bermal Aydin is a researcher at the London School of Economics' Department of Media and Communications. Their current research project examines 'The Relationship Between Repressive Regimes and Precarization of Academia and Media Professionals: A Discussion of the Case of Turkey,' focusing on intellectuals who fled Turkey's authoritarian regime and their alternative intellectual production methods in the UK. Collaborating with Dr Myria Georgiou, their work bridges media governance, communication law, and media citizenship.
