Berkay Şekerci serves as a Part-Time Lecturer in the Theatre Department at Bilkent University, teaching acting and introduction to theatre courses. He concurrently holds the position of Program Coordinator for the Bilkent Theatre for Kids Program since 2023.
His educational background includes graduating from Bilkent University Theatre Department in 2017. Professionally, he performed with Ankara State Theatre for one year post-graduation, then worked as assistant director to Işıl Kasapoğlu while being a member of Semaver Kumpanya for two years. Additional experience includes assistant directing/editing under Sabahattin Yakut and a year working Front of House at London's Ambassador Theater Group.
His expertise spans Theatre performance, Acting instruction, Directing techniques, and specialized Theatre for Children programming. He has participated in over 20 Bilkent University productions since 2014 including recent works like "HOT L BALTIMORE" (2024-2025 Senior Project), "PARLAYAN ŞEHİR" (Japan Foundation co-production), and "İLYADA" across multiple academic seasons.
