Benoit Dionne is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Ottawa. His research focuses on dynamical systems, mathematical biology, and applied mathematics, with particular emphasis on epidemiological modeling, bifurcation theory, and numerical analysis. He contributes to both theoretical advancements and practical applications in areas like disease dynamics and nonlinear oscillators.
Key research interests include avian influenza modeling, stability analysis of spatial patterns, and the study of coupled cell systems with symmetry. His work bridges mathematical theory and real-world phenomena, such as optimizing disease control strategies through Filippov models and analyzing time-delay systems in Van der Pol oscillators.
