Benno Liebchen

Prof. Benno Liebchen holds a faculty position at the Technische Universität Darmstadt within the Institute for Condensed Matter Physics, part of the Faculty of Physics. He leads the Liebchen Group, dedicated to advancing research in the Theory of Soft Matter, focusing on active matter, colloidal systems, and non-equilibrium phenomena. His work explores collective behavior in self-propelled particles, phase transitions in active fluids, and adaptive strategies in smart materials.
