Benjamin Withers

Dr. Benjamin Withers is a Principal Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Southampton. His research focuses on gravity, holography, string theory, and cosmology, with a particular emphasis on the AdS/CFT correspondence. He has been awarded the Royal Society University Research Fellowship and supervises multiple PhD students in theoretical physics.

He teaches advanced mathematical courses such as Partial Differential Equations (MATH2038) and Vector Calculus and Complex Variables (MATH2045).
