Dr. Benjamin Welsh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Higher Education & Student Affairs at Morgan State University's Advanced Studies, Leadership, and Policy school. He joined Morgan in Spring 2009 after previous faculty roles at Alfred University, Keuka College, and Ball State University. His research critically examines systemic inequities in education through historical analysis of eugenics, critical white studies, and social Darwinism's impact on public schooling.
