Benjamin Lowe is a Lecturer of Finance at Seton Hall University's Department of Finance. He holds an MBA from Columbia University (1990) and MS/BS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University (1983/1982). His professional experience spans roles at Verizon, Bell Labs, and Formosa Plastics, where he led teams in data analytics, supply chain research, and operations management. As an entrepreneur, he founded ventures like Lebeta Photography, LLC and Chatham Capitol Investors, LLC, alongside non-profits like the World Children's Day Foundation.
His research focuses on supply chain optimization, algorithmic trading, and data-driven decision-making. Notable contributions include patents on voice quality evaluation and real-time collaboration systems. He has received awards such as the Bell Labs Gold Award (2003) and NSF I-Corps funding (2024).
He actively participates in professional organizations like the Association of Supply Chain Management and teaches courses on cryptocurrency, finance technology, and entrepreneurship.
