Prof. Dr. Benjamin Lahusen holds the Chair of Civil Law and Modern Legal History at Viadrina European University in Frankfurt (Oder). His research focuses on intersections between civil law, historical legal frameworks, and contemporary issues like art restitution. He is involved in projects such as the international database on anti-Semitism and the evaluation of Nazi art theft documents discovered in Moscow archives.
