Benjamin Krusling is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Writing Department at the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Pratt Institute. His work intersects poetry, sound, and moving image, with recent contributions to journals such as The Paris Review, The Drift, and Triple Canopy.
- Education: PhD in English (in progress, CUNY Graduate Center), MFA in Poetry (Iowa Writers Workshop), BA in English (Columbia University)
His research focuses on experimental poetry, cultural critique, and multimedia storytelling, often incorporating film analysis, music criticism, and sound art. Recent publications include the poetry collections Glaring (2020) and the forthcoming Fear of God Essentials (2027), alongside digital projects like ski mask over my skull (2024).
Publications span digital humanities, contemporary literature, and interdisciplinary art, with recurring themes in sound-text integration, avant-garde techniques, and visual narratives.
