Dr Benjamin Joseph Pace is an Education Focused Lecturer at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), specializing in foundational materials science and sustainable materials. He holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering (2018) from UNSW, along with undergraduate degrees in Renewable Energy Engineering (Honours) and Physics (2012).
- Research Interests: Pedagogical studies, group learning dynamics, blended learning, and characterization of advanced materials like nano-engineered biochar and tantalum thin films.
- Professional Experience: Former sustainable design consultant (2010-2012), Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Australian Centre for Microscopy & Microanalysis (ACMM), University of Sydney (2017-2020), and project officer for Microscopy Australia.
