Benjamin Braun

Benjamin Braun is Assistant Professor of Political Economy at the London School of Economics’ European Institute. His research examines asset manager capitalism, central banking, and financial regulation. He leads a DFG-funded project on central banking infrastructures and is authoring a monograph on asset manager capitalism.

His research investigates macroeconomic power structures, including how central banks navigate political pressures and how asset management firms reshape corporate governance. Recent publications analyze inflation dynamics, sustainable finance transitions, and the geopolitical implications of dollar dominance.
