Bengt G. Karlsson is a Professor at the Department of Social Anthropology, Stockholm University. His academic career spans multiple institutions including Uppsala University, The University of Chicago, and North-Eastern Hill University (Shillong). As a working member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, he has influenced research evaluations for Nordic research councils.
