Benedicte Cuenot is a Full Professor in Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology's College of Engineering, affiliated with the EIRES Research Group and Group Van Oijen.
Her research focuses on combustion, computational fluid dynamics, and numerical modeling of mixing layers and iron powder combustion processes. She has contributed to understanding turbulent flows and Gibbs free energy dynamics.
Recent research output includes a 2024 article in the Proceedings of the Combustion Institute analyzing iron particle combustion in mixing layers using numerical simulations.
