Ben Michael Brumpton

Ben Michael Brumpton is an Associate Professor in Genetic Epidemiology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Department of Public Health and Nursing. His research focuses on integrating genetic data and phenotypic information from population-based surveys (e.g., HUNT Study) and electronic health records to explore causal relationships in disease etiology using Mendelian randomization. He leads major projects such as HUNT genotyping, HUNT-COVID, and HUNT-metabolomics. His competencies include DNA methylation epidemiology, metabolomics, and omics-based analyses.
