Ben DeRidder is an Associate Professor at Grinnell College, affiliated with the Biology, Biological Chemistry, and Plant Molecular Biology departments. His research focuses on molecular, biochemical, and physiological responses of plants to environmental stress, particularly heat, chilling, and chemical stressors.
- Education: B.S. in Biology (1998) from Calvin College, Ph.D. (2003) from Purdue University.
- Prior Roles: Postdoctoral Associate and Research Molecular Biologist at USDA-ARS Phoenix, AZ (2003–2006).
