Professor Ben Allanach is a Professor of Theoretical Physics at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP), University of Cambridge, and holds a Professorial Fellowship at Clare Hall since 2025. He is a member of the DAMTP High Energy Physics research group and the Cambridge Pheno Working Group at the Cavendish Laboratory.
- Research Focus: Particle phenomenology, interpreting CERN data for new particles/forces, and exploring gauge extensions of the Standard Model.
- Key Areas: Z′ bosons, flavor anomalies, supersymmetry, Higgs physics, and anomaly cancellation.
- Education: Lectures Part III (Master's level) and offers YouTube lectures.
Recent Publications include studies on Z′ models for B anomalies, FCC-ee sensitivity, and flavonstrahlung processes. Scientific Activities encompass authorship in The Review of Particle Physics, TEDx talks, art exhibitions, and collaborations with CERN.
