Belinda Anderson is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Pace University's College of Health Professions, Department of Family and Social Medicine. She also holds positions as Associate Dean of Allied Health Programs at Pace, Associate Clinical Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, NY), and Research Professor at Pacific College of Health and Science (NY). Her expertise spans integrative medicine for chronic pain, evidence-based medicine education, and clinical trial methodologies.
Dr. Anderson earned a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Sydney, a Master's in Higher Education from Teachers College Columbia University, and a Master's in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She completed the Duke University Leadership in Integrative Health and Medicine program in 2020.
Her research focuses on complementary therapies for pain management, curriculum development in evidence-based practices, and healthcare disparities reduction. She leads federally-funded studies on acupuncture efficacy and serves on the NIH National Advisory Council for Complementary and Integrative Health. As co-chair of the Academic Collaborative for Integrative Health’s Research Working Group, she drives transdisciplinary initiatives.
Previously, Dr. Anderson maintained a private Chinese medicine practice at NYU Fertility Center (2009–2018), specializing in acupuncture for assisted reproductive outcomes. She is an associate editor for Explore: The Journal of Science and Healing and has published extensively on integrative healthcare models and interdisciplinary education.
