Dr. Behzad Kiani is a Research Fellow at the UQ Centre for Clinical Research within The University of Queensland's Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences. His work focuses on spatial epidemiology of infectious diseases, specializing in geoinformatics using spatial regression models and cluster analysis.
Dr. Kiani holds a PhD in Medical Informatics and a Master's degree in Computer Science. He previously served as an Assistant Professor at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iran and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Montreal, Canada. He is an associate editor of Geospatial Health Journal and executive member of the International Society of Geospatial Health.
