Behzad Abdolmaleki

Behzad Abdolmaleki is an Assistant Professor and member of the Security of Advanced Systems research group at the University of Sheffield. He focuses on cryptographic schemes in post-quantum and quantum settings, with applications to zero-knowledge proofs, cryptocurrencies, and concurrent systems. Previously, he held postdoctoral and senior researcher roles at the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy (MPI-SP) and the University of Tartu, and visited institutions like the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology and Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.

Research Interests include constructing secure cryptographic protocols, with a focus on post-quantum foundations, zero-knowledge proofs, blockchain technologies, and universally composable security models. His work bridges theoretical cryptography with practical applications in secure systems.
