Beatriz Martinez Perpiña

Beatriz Martinez Perpiña is a pre-doctoral Researcher in Public Law at the University of Girona, with a focus on procedural law and victim protection. She is supported by the IFUdG Grant for the Hiring of Researchers in Training (2022) and contributes to academic governance as Secretary on the Board of Directors of the International Network of Young Jurists in Probationary Law (PROBATICIUS).

Her research addresses critical areas in criminal justice, including victim protection, secondary victimization, child rights, criminal evidence, and procedural law. She teaches Community Justice within the Criminology Degree program at the University of Girona and is currently undertaking a research stay at the Cambridge Centre for Criminal Justice, University of Cambridge, England.
