Beatriz Higón Cardete is a Spanish researcher and artist affiliated with the FIDEX research group at Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche (UMH) and the Institute for Porn Studies. Her work critically examines the intersections of visual arts, cultural industries, and queer activism, with a focus on transfeminist artistic practices in Spain since 2005 through the ORGIA collective. She combines photography, sculpture, and performance to challenge norms around identity and gender.
