Beatrice Krebs is a Global Visiting Professor of Law at the University of Notre Dame under its Global Visiting Professors program, while maintaining her primary role as an Associate Professor of Law at the School of Law, University of Reading, UK. She also holds a Lectureship in Criminal Law at Pembroke College, University of Oxford. As an Academic Member of Libertas Chambers in London, she engages in high-profile criminal defense work. Her research focuses on the law of complicity (joint criminal enterprise), comparative criminal law, and international criminal law. During her visit, she teaches a course titled 'Paths to Overcriminalization' at Notre Dame.
Her expertise spans theoretical and applied aspects of criminal law, with a particular emphasis on transnational legal frameworks and the evolution of complicity doctrines. She actively contributes to both academic discourse and practical legal advocacy, bridging scholarly research and real-world legal challenges.
