Beatrice Dippel is a Research Fellow at Bielefeld University's Faculty of Sociology, affiliated with Department 4 (Politics and Society) and the Straßheim Research Group. She currently works on the UKRI/ESRC-funded international project 'Ethics and Expertise Beyond Times of Crisis' directed by Prof. Dr. Holger Straßheim.
Her research focuses on ethics, expertise dynamics, and political sociology, particularly examining how knowledge and ethical frameworks operate in societal contexts during crises. This interdisciplinary work bridges sociology, political science, and philosophy.
