Beata Strzemiecka

Dr. Beata Strzemiecka is an Associate Professor at Poznań University of Technology, Faculty of Chemical Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology and Engineering, Department of Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry. She holds a habilitated doctorate in engineering (2015), PhD (2006), and Master of Science in Engineering (2002).

Her scientific interests span chromatographic techniques, surface chemistry, adsorption phenomena, surface modification, organic synthesis, and polymer composites. She teaches courses including Technological Process Control Methods, Methods of Analysis of Organic Compounds, and Organic Chemistry.

Prof. Strzemiecka's recent research (2020-2024) demonstrates continued focus on surface characterization using inverse gas chromatography, polymer composites for abrasive tools, functionalized silica materials for environmental applications, and analysis of polymer crystallization behavior. Her work shows strong interdisciplinary connections between analytical chemistry, materials science, and chemical engineering.

Her extensive publication record includes 59 scientific articles, 33 book chapters, 14 research reports, and 2 inventions. Her research has been consistently funded through various projects focusing on advanced materials development and characterization techniques.
