Beata Marczyńska-Fedorowicz

Beata Marczyńska-Fedorowicz is a Lecturer at the Department of Applied Linguistics, part of the Faculty of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS). Since 2019, she has contributed to academic and practical translation training, drawing on her experience as a Polish-to-English translator and graduate of English philology at UMCS.

Her research and teaching focus on applied linguistics, emphasizing language pedagogy, translation practices, and grammar in communicative contexts. She also explores the intersection of linguistics with cultural communication, informed by collaborations with institutions like the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and Labirynt Gallery in Lublin.

As a translator, she has worked with notable organizations such as the Polish Theatre in Bydgoszcz and Greenpeace Foundation. Her current academic activities include teaching courses like Grammar in Language Communication and Cultural Foundations of Language Communication, alongside supervising practical translation exercises for master's students.
