Beata Kotłowska

Beata Kotłowska is a Lecturer and music theorist at the Faculty of Conducting, Composition and Music Theory of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where she has worked for over twenty years. She currently serves as Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and supervisor of the faculty's Artistic-Scientific Circle since 2012, while also chairing the University Planning Committee and organizing international academic sessions on organs and organ music.

• Graduate of the Faculty of Philology and History at University of Gdańsk (Polish Philology; Philological Doctoral Program participant)
• Graduate of the Faculty of Composition and Music Theory at Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk

Her research centers on the intricate relationship between music and literature, with specialized focus on operatic structures and organ music traditions. She actively explores literary influences in musical composition and interpretation, particularly examining narrative techniques in opera and historical developments in organ repertoire. Her dedication to organ music is demonstrated through organizing international academic sessions like "Organs and Organ Music" (2012, 2015).
