Beata Dąbrowska

Dr. hab. Beata Dąbrowska is an Associate Professor at the University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska (UMCS), Faculty of Arts, Department of Musical Education and Instrumental Pedagogy. She has been a solo flutist at the Henryk Wieniawski Philharmonic in Lublin since 1992 and combines her academic role with extensive professional performance experience.

• Education: Graduate of Łódź Music Academy (1992), Doctorate in Musical Arts (2010)

Her research focuses on flute performance techniques, instrumental pedagogy, and chamber music dynamics. She explores connections between vocal and instrumental expression, with special interest in articulation methods and cross-cultural musical interpretations.

Publications include two monographs analyzing performance theory and articulation practices. Her concertography spans 650+ performances as a soloist and chamber musician, including collaborations with ensembles like Akord 5 and Camerata Lubelska.

Scientific awards include:
