Bassam El Baroni is an Associate Professor in Curating and Mediating Art at Aalto University's Department of Art and Media, School of Arts, Design and Architecture. He holds a PhD in Curatorial Knowledge from Goldsmiths, University of London, and previously served as Lecturer in Art Theory at ArtEZ University of the Arts, Netherlands.

His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals for education and cultural preservation.
