Dr.-Ing. Bashir Kazimi is a group leader at the Materials Data Science and Informatics (IAS-9) department within the Institute for Advanced Simulation at Forschungszentrum Jülich. His work focuses on advancing deep learning and computer vision techniques for electron microscopy data analysis, enabling efficient material characterization.
