Bartosz Skłodowski

Bartosz Skłodowski is a Polish pianist and doctoral student at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. He holds a PhD (dr) and specializes in classical piano performance. His academic affiliation is with the Faculty of Instrumental Studies. Skłodowski has an extensive concert career, performing across Europe and Asia with renowned orchestras like the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra and Taipei Symphony Orchestra.

Education: Graduated with distinction from the Academy of Music Gdańsk (2012) under Prof. Waldemar Wojtal, and is currently completing a doctorate. Awards include Grand Prix at the 2011 Chopin Competition in Slovenia, 1st Place at the 2017 Mauro Paolo Monopoli Competition, and 4th Prize at the 2023 Warsaw Chopin Competition. He has participated in prestigious festivals including Duszniki Chopin Festival and Ljubljana Festival.

Key collaborations include performances with the Baltic Philharmonic, Lower Silesian Philharmonic, and Moroccan National Symphony Orchestra. Notable venues include Chopin's birthplace in Żelazowa Wola and the Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw. His artistic development was supported by scholarships from Gdańsk Academy, Pomeranian Voivodeship, and Poland's Ministry of Culture.
