Bart Ballard

Dr. Bart Ballard is a Professor and Research Scientist at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, holding the C. Berdon and Rolanette Lawrence Endowed Chair in Waterfowl Research. He serves as the Associate Dean of Research and Department Chair within the Dick and Mary Lewis Kleberg College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. His work focuses on the ecology and management of birds, particularly waterfowl and waterbirds.

Dr. Ballard's research spans wildlife ecology, conservation biology, and wetland management. He integrates applied and theoretical approaches to study avian species, emphasizing sustainable management practices and habitat preservation for waterfowl populations.
