Barry W. Ickes

Barry W. Ickes is the Department Head of Economics and Professor of Economics at Pennsylvania State University. He also directs the Center for Research on International Financial and Energy Security and co-founded the New Economic School in Moscow. His research focuses on the Russian economy, transition economics, and development economics. Ickes earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1984.
