Dr. Baris Ari is a Lecturer in Political Science at the University of East Anglia's School of Politics, Philosophy and Area Studies. He holds a PhD from the University of Essex (2018) and a Master of Social Science from Roskilde University (2012). His research focuses on intrastate/international conflict dynamics, UN peacekeeping operations, democratization processes, and quantitative analysis of political violence. He designs and teaches courses on social research methods and political institutions.
