Barbora Holá

Barbora Holá is an Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at the Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement (NSCR) and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam's Department of Criminal Law and Criminology.

In Informers Up Close: Stories from Communist Prague (2024), she contributed empirical analysis of secret police archives to understand informer motivations, emphasizing emotions like fear and loyalty in authoritarian contexts.
