Barbara Scowcroft serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Violin at the University of Utah while maintaining an active career as a violinist and conductor. She has performed in the first violin section of the Utah Symphony Orchestra for 24 seasons, served as acting Assistant Concertmaster (1998-1999), and held leadership roles including Music Director of the Utah Youth Symphony and NOVA Chamber Music Series.
