Barbara Rogoff is the UCSC Foundation Distinguished Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her research focuses on cultural aspects of learning, particularly in Indigenous heritage communities such as those in Guatemala and Mexico. She examines how children engage in collaborative activities, learn through observation, and participate in cultural practices.
