Barbara Mowder is a Professor in the Psychology Department at Pace University, located within the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences in New York City. She is a licensed psychologist in New York State and holds permanent certification as a school psychologist. In 2010, she founded the Parent Child Institute (PCI) at Pace University to advance research on parenting, parent-child interactions, and child development outcomes.
