Barbara Jones

Barbara Jones serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of St. Thomas School of Law and is the Managing Editor of Minnesota Lawyer newspaper, a role she has held since 1999. She holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from William Mitchell College of Law (1982) and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and English from the University of Minnesota (1975). Her professional experience includes teaching lawyering skills at Hamline University School of Law and various subjects at the Minnesota Paralegal Institute. As of 2025, she is not scheduled to teach any courses. Beyond her professional roles, Jones is a lifelong resident of St. Paul, Minnesota, and pursues creative interests in poetry and quilt-making.
