Barbara Gastel

Barbara Gastel, MD, MPH is a Professor at Texas A&M University’s School of Medicine, specializing in integrative biosciences, humanities in medicine, and biotechnology. She coordinates the master’s program in science and technology journalism. Her career spans roles at NIH, MIT, and UCSF, alongside international collaborations promoting science communication in Asia and Africa.
