Dr. Barbara Frank is a Senior Lecturer in the Biological Sciences Department at Idaho State University since 2002. She teaches courses spanning from introductory to advanced levels, including Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, and Anatomy and Physiology. Her teaching emphasizes active learning and critical thinking, incorporating interdisciplinary projects with community and academic collaborators.
Education: Ph.D. Biochemistry (Washington State University), B.S. Biochemistry (University of California, Davis), and postdoctoral research at Genentech, Inc., focusing on tumor necrosis factor receptor signaling.
