Barbara A Ward

Barbara A. Ward, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgical Oncology at the Yale School of Medicine and a leading surgical oncologist specializing in breast cancer. She serves as Chief of Surgery and Medical Director of the Breast Center at Greenwich Hospital, part of the Yale New Haven Health System. Dr. Ward has been a key figure at Yale since 1990, previously directing the Yale Comprehensive Breast Center and co-founding the Breast Center at Greenwich Hospital in 2000, which served as a pilot site for the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers.
