Barak Aharonson is Professor and John F. Wood Chair in Innovation Management at the University of Guelph's Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics. He earned his PhD in Strategic Management and Organization Theory from University of Toronto's Rotman School, with additional degrees from Tel-Aviv University.
His research explores innovation management, organizational networks, and technology evolution. Recent publications examine absorptive capacity (2023), outlier innovation (2020), and venture capitalist-startup relationships (2019). His work spans knowledge search processes, alliance formation, and entrepreneurial imprinting.
