Baochang Zhang

Baochang Zhang is a Professor at the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering, Beihang University, Beijing, China. His research focuses on neural architecture search under power and bandwidth constraints, deep learning, model compression, object detection and recognition, and video classification. He has held affiliations including Academic Advisor of the Deep Learning Lab of Baidu Inc. (2019–2020) and visiting/research roles at Chinese University of Hong Kong, Griffith University, and PAVIS, IIT Italy.

• Education: B.S., M.S., Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from Harbin Institute of Technology

Research Interests center on optimizing deep learning models for resource-constrained environments, including techniques for feature learning, infrared face recognition, and machine learning applications in computer vision.
