Balint Virag is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Statistics, University of California, Berkeley. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. program graduation in 2000 with a dissertation titled "Random Walks and Geometry on Graphs of Exponential Growth," supervised by Yuval Peres. His research focuses on probabilistic processes and graph theory.
