Bailey Jacobson is a Lecturer in the Department of Art Education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). They hold a BFA in Intermedia Art, Art Education, and English from the University of Iowa and an MAAE in Art Education from SAIC. Their teaching focuses on interdisciplinary studio practices, contemporary art production, and pedagogical frameworks for diverse learners.
Jacobson's research interests center on integrating disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches in art education, emphasizing materials and techniques across 2D, 3D, and 4D practices. They explore connections between traditional and contemporary methods, fostering student development as makers and thinkers through hands-on studio environments.
